Oh how to describe our Kendyl....She is so full of life! Very energentic, intelligent, loves attention, a little sassy pants, she keeps us laughing (when I am secretly not crying :), she for sure has the 'oldest child syndrome', dad's little huntin buddy, and at the same time mom's princess. She love's to play dress up and dance. Loves to boss us all around and we don't go a day without her saying something off the wall and very funny.
Sydney
Our Syd....She is so tender hearted. You can break her little heart in seconds. The way she talks is classic, she has a cute raspy voice and when she talks in sentences she has a large range in pitch and enthusiasm. Our little 'Miss Priss', where that came from I do not know. She is very loving, smarter than we give her credit for, loves playing with Ken, loves to please Trav and I and like her sister keeps us laughing all day.
Ashtyn
Ashy Babe....Could not have a more perfect 3rd baby. She is so easy going, smiles all the time, loves to hear her daddy talk, loves to snuggle into her mommy ( I quite like that myself), loves her sisters...from a distance:), is getting too big too fast, she's a chunky monkey, she does not like to be ignored for too long. We can't wait to see what her little personality will be like.
Kids say the darndest things
Everyone in my family is always waiting for a Kendyl story, we always have one. Now Syd is joining the ranks of funnies, So here is the latest...I will try to update often
This story should deserve top story always. This morning Syd woke up and came to see me and Ash on the couch. She like always asked if her daddy was working. I told her he was hunting, (trying not to roll my eyes he he). She looked up at me and said, "daddy huntin AGAIN". Swear there was no coaching. So Trav have your pitty party about never hunting somewhere else. JK
I hate that I am so behind on funny stories. Kendyl was taking a bath and wanted me to get her bath fizz, so I looked for it, knowing I had just seen it, and I could not find it. I went back to the bathroom and told her I couldn't find it and she said, "Well...then maybe you're not looking hard enough." SO something I say ALL the time to her....and her Dad.
Syd wanted to play dress up and I told her no because we were getting ready to go to Grandma Wanda's. She said, "Ah, that not fair." Then walked out of her room stopped and said, "you make me mad."
Most of you know I have the most amazing babysitter for my girls...Megehn. Well this morning Ken got up and said good morning to Trav, he was in the shower, and walked out. When Trav came out to the living room Ken had pulled the blinds up and was sitting on the couch looking out the window. Trav asked what she was doing and she said, 'waiting for Megehn'. Megehn wasn't going to arrive for about 4 more hours. My girls love her and I am truly grateful to have found someone as great as her to help me with my kids.
Trav was laying on his stomach in the living room and Ken walked in and said, "oh dad are you having tummy time?"
I picked Kendyl up from school the other day and she says, "Ms. Grange didn't think I looked cute today." I say, "Why what did she say?" Ken: "She just didn't say I looked cute and I think I do."
So trying not to laugh too hard I saw Ms. Grange, who is also a friend so you don't think I am wierd, she was driving to her sisters so I followed to tell her what Ken had said. I told her the conversation and she looked and Ken and said, " I think you look cute today." Ken: "But you didn't tell me I did."
How funny that a four year old catches on to a detail like that. The best part of the whole conversation is the fact that Ken herself thought she looked cute.
Now for a Syd story: Trav was changing her bum and had mentioned it looked like deer poop. After they were done Syd ran out to me and said, "Mama a deer poop my pants!"
Trav and I went to high school together and were friends, nothing more. We started dating when I graduated and were married 3 yrs later. We got married at the Ben Lomand Hotel and 2 yrs later were sealed in the Bountiful Temple.
We now have 3 beautiful girls. Kendyl (4), Sydney (2) and Ashtyn 1 month. Those of you that knew Trav previous to kids, probably heard him say 'I won't have any girls and I don't want a girl'. Now he has been given 3 and each of them have him wrapped around their little fingers. Luckily Kendyl is a good mix. She loves being a princess one minute and the next she is dad's lil huntin buddy.
I do hair at Embellish Salon 2 days a week and Trav is working for Nucor Buildings System. He is a District Manager, his office is here at home but he travels a little. The girls think it's a treat everytime he comes upstairs.
Our girls are such a blessing in our lives. Everyone always asks if we are going to try for a boy. For now we are going to enjoy our girls we will think about that later.
