Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. Motherhood.... The most difficult and yet most rewarding experience. To know of the responsibilties we have to rear our children in these trying times, to have our homes a safe haven from the world, a place where they feel loved and protected. To be an example in the things that we do and don't do. Always hoping we are doing right by them and hoping they will grow to be better than we are. I feel so blessed to have 3 very beautiful girls that keep me on my toes and bring so much joy in my life.

Not an easy task taking pictures of three little girls by myself. This is as good as it gets. I had a lot of fun playing with their individuals though.

So I have decided if the Sun is out then we should be as well!! My housework, unfortunately will still be there when I get back inside. I have to remind myself daily that this is not the time in my life where everything is in order and tidy, but I have little kids that need my much needed love and attention. So I say they can have it. Sorry for all the pics of my girls but they are my life and what I love taking pictures of.

This picture had to be posted for many reasons. Although the lighting was HORRible, the picture is PRICEless. Syd looking up to my Grams...we all do. She is such a great blessing and example to our family. We all want her approval, advice, time and attention..Speaking for my brothers and I even though we are in our 30's (me of course just recently he he) the child in us still comes out when it comes to our Grams. How neat that we argue over who is the favorite, because we all think we are. She makes each of us feel so important to her and has such an endless love. I know that anyone that knows her can say that she has touched their life in some way. Thanks for being you Grams...Love Ya

I have been asked if turning 30 was hard for me. I am completely happy with where I am at. Happily married with 3 great girlies! Besides whose counting, in my head I am still in my mid 20's!?
There's a smile for ya. That's what she will do if you tell her to smile big. She's quite literal.

Deseret Elk Hunt

Trav's dad drew out on Deseret this year for the Elk hunt and Trav was able to take time to go with him and help in any way he could. They had success as you can see. I know Trav is greatful that he got to experience that with his Dad and I am proud of him for making it such a priority.

They brought the beast home so we could see it and of course Ken was all over it,

while Syd on the other hand not so sure.

Ken wasn't sure about sitting on his head, not because it was a huge animal, not because it was dead, no..she didn't want any blood to get on her. (I don't blame her)

Ken was a trooper and loved helping with the pumpkins. Syd on the other hand...I told her to clean out her pumpkin and she put her hands up like lil miss priss and said 'no mommy dirty'. I said that's ok you can take a bath when you are done. She said,' no mommy cucky'. Wow... she just might be my girly girl.

I had to take this picture more because it has a teeny story than the fact she is completely asleep sitting up. I had just got home from work and she was sitting just like that, I have no idea if she was awake or not when I walked in, she just said 'hi mom' next thing I know I turn around and this is what I saw. We decided to brave the crowd and take Ken and Syd to see the 'rat' (as my brother would say). As far as the kids are concerned the place is great. Thanks to one my friends I was prewarned that there was No stage and No pop out characters. I was so sad. I guess they weren't really thinking of my generation when they built it though. The kids had a great time and that's really what we were going for!

So after Trav went duck hunting we went to Meeks Cabin to meet some of my family for the Elk Hunt. We all know the weather was not so great, so needless to say the girls and I were stuck in the trailer a lot. They did surprisingly well. We still had such a good time, we love to go camping. I love being in the mountains away from the world for a minute. No phones ringing and enjoying each others company. Due to the weather, unfortunately there were no camp fires. During our little trip Kendyl kept saying when she grows up she wants to be a cowgirl and a hunter girl. As we were leaving to come home 7 deer were crossing the road, a couple Doe, fawns and a little 2 point, so that was fun for the girls to see.

I said it before, Trav is a great dad. He had this cute idea to take the girls for a ride on my brothers Ranger and carve their names into a tree.

I wasn't there for this pic, but knowing Trav I am pretty sure they are flexing their muscles.
Ken and I went for a ride when the sun decided to grace us with its presence...for 10 minutes!! Thanks Gayla and Brandon for giving my a girls an enjoyable weekend.
I can literally say she is a 'happy camper'.

Nope, no pics of the 4 fish they caught. Trav told me he was too nervous with them around the water. Thanks Trav, I would much rather have my kids than pics of the fish they caught. Syd caught 1 fish and Ken caught the other 3. I am lucky, Trav is such a great Dad. He is very willing to spend time with his girls.

So after I posted the pics of me repelling I realized I forgot to explain how great my camera is and it didn't look too tricky. So here is a better pic of the big rock cliff and let me tell ya, coming over the edge...a lot scary.

I totally repelled down a big rock cliff. LOVED IT! And yes I posted pictures of me going ALL the way down. We just got through with our Youth Conference and this was one of the activities we did. For those of you that don't know, I am the 1st Counselor in the Young Womens. I love my calling. I have been in for almost 3 years! Our Youth Conference turned out to be so awesome. It was kind of thrown together last minute but we were guided in our decisions and I believe it will be a memorable one. Props to our Young Mens Presidency for putting this activity together! (repelling) We will stick to what we are good at, food, center pieces, ya know the girly stuff. Good Times!!

Well I got a little caught up but I still have more to do. I don't have a lot of extra time to post. Be patient with me I will try to get better. We did go to the Dr. the other day for the 'triple checkup'. Ash is growing well. She is in the 75th percentile in height, my first tall one! Syd however is my skinny minnie, she is below the 5th in weight. Ken, believe it or not has grown, not much but we will take what we can get. There is only a 4 inch difference in Ken and Syd.

The mullet is coming off! I have dreaded cutting off her hair because she looks so cute with it pulled up. Even though 80's might be back I can't hold on to the mullet. She loved getting her hair cut, every 10 seconds she would say, "mama done?" Then per her request we had to make her hair pretty.

Trav took the girls fishing at the trout farm while I was home recovering from having a baby. Syd thought it was great until Kendyl caught a fish then she wouldn't go near the pole. Being the daddy's girl Kendyl is she wasn't at all afraid to hold her fish.
